Description: Improv – the art of spontaneous theater – aligns well with the Universal Design for Learning framework, which aims to remove barriers to learning for all. Improv also offers novel ways to support student exploration of audience, purpose, genre, ideation, and narrative – essential aspects of writing across the curriculum. Join me for an active, on-your-feet exploration of improv, UDL, and writing instruction. This session is intended for school and community-based educators working with high school aged populations, but educators of all stripes will walk away with ideas and inspiration.
Presenter: Jim Ansaldo
