We all know that teaching is more than the 3 Rs of reading, 'riting, and 'rithmatic. Everything you do is connected to child development. So, what do you do when you're so stressed out you can barely teach? What do you do when children come in with active trauma? This session explores the Tiny Survival Guide published by the Trauma Stewardship Institute and explores how teachers can incorporate somatic, artistic, and vocal tools for working on their own stress, aw well as modeling healing behaviors and supporting children.
